égérie spring mode by Shu Uemura

Shu Uemura is one of my favorite makeup brands. Their products are of good quality, and many of the products are favorite's of many makeup artists and users. One of my favorite Shu Uemura products are their eye shadows - great texture and lots of color options to choose from! And not to forget their award winning eyelash curler!

This spring, Shu Uemura has released their 130th spring mode makeup collection, called égérie:

the 130th shu uemura spring mode makeup collection invites you to be an "égérie:" a rebellious and daring spirit who never loses her sense of elegance and sophistication. the collection is inpired by the glamour of rock n roll. flashy, glimmering shine is complemented with delicate satin sheen finishes to transport you under the spotlight of the captivating rock stage.

Looks like this collection is perfect for that sophisticated rebel, a juxtaposition perfectly in line with the image of Shu Uemura's spring mode makeup collection. I can't wait to be checking out the products!

Album of the Year for Taylor Swift

Country music darling Taylor Swift won four (4) awards at the 52nd Grammy Awards - including the top prize of the night - Album of the Year. I can't believe she's only 20 years old, and has already accomplished so much!

I heard Teardrops on My Guitar back when it was first released, but somehow, I never got into her music then. Later, when Love Story came out, the song just stuck in my head. Maybe it was the melody or the lyrics, maybe it was both - I just couldn't get it out of my head. Then came You Belong With Me, I really started getting into more of her music.

Her album Fearless - for which it won the Album of the Year at the Grammys - is a strong album. I can listen to it from beginning to end, and not have to skip any songs. And that's saying something.

She's just on the rise, this girl, and I can't wait to hear more music from her. Congrats, Taylor!

CNY To-do list

Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year) is coming in two weeks. And there's so many things still left for me to do in preparation for this celebration.

1. Spring cleaning - although this is something I should be doing on a regular basis, cleaning up my room before I leave for Chinese New Year is a must.
2. New clothes - I love shopping, but somehow, I can't seem to find any clothes that suit my style this year.
3. New hair - Undecided on what I should do. Cut? Color? Both? Salon in Penang or KL?

Being green

Green is one of my favorite colors. Forest green, emerald green, you name it; I love all shades of green.

But today I'm not talking about colors. The green I'll be writing about today is about being environmentally friendly and reducing pollution. I know a lot of us are very conscious about this, but it can't hurt to have another advocate for it.

One way of being green is to reduce the amount of water we use in our daily lives. Saw these Dual Flush Toilets, and they seem like a good way to save water. After all, the toilet is one of our daily needs.

You don't even need to install any new toilet; it comes with a conservation device for standard toilets in your homes right now. This is a very simple way to save water.

All house holds could use one (or more!) of these Dual Flush Conversion kits. Go check them out if you are looking for another way to go green!

Legal Service Network in the New Jersey Area

Do you live in New Jersey? Well, I haven't been there myself, but if you do and you are seeking some legal advice, you might want to check out Legal Service Network - New Jersey Area. You never know when you might need to speak to a lawyer.

Although I'm not a lawyer myself, it seems that the Legal Service Network - New Jersey Area seems like a good resource for those needed legal advice. I also have to say that I haven't needed to get legal advice myself, but if I lived in the New Jersey area, I would give Legal Service Network - New Jersey Area a good look-through. The website is simple and easy to browse through.

The info on the website isn't meant to be legal advice, and that's because each individual needing legal advice needs personalized advice from a lawyer that knows your case well. And I do think that's reasonable, as you wouldn't want a one-size-fits-all advice for your case which could be so different from others.

An alternative to insurance

Health insurance is very important. If you do end up falling sick, you don't want to end up draining your bank account in case it does turn into something very serious.

If you are in need of health insurance, but your financial situation just doesn't allow for it, look into Ameriplan. Ameriplan is a discount medical and dental plan and an alternative to insurance. Apparently, it is also a work from home business.

Please note that Ameriplan is not insurance, but they offer benefits that sound pretty reasonable. You can go to their website to read more about them.

Making money with PayPerPost

I've been hearing a lot of PayPerPost, and it seems like a really great opportunity so I wanted to try it out. Their minimum requirement for a blog is for it to be at least 3 months old, and this blog just barely reached it, but I finally met the requirements.

What PayPerPost does is that they pay you to write about certain websites. Basically, you get to choose from different opportunities, and this is great because you get to decided which ones you want to write about. This is great because you can choose those opportunities that relate to the content of your site or those that you are interested in.

Another reason why I'm interested in PayPerPost is because it's a great way to add a variety of entries to your blog. Sometimes I really can't think of something to write about, and if I just go to look at the opportunities, I can read up and learn about something new, and I am able to share that with my readers.

PayPerPost is a really great idea because it really gives advertisers exposure, and at the same time, bloggers will be able to earn some extra money from writing an entry. In this age of the internet, blogs are a great way for advertising, because all you need is basically a computer and internet access. If you are an advertiser, PayPerPost is a great way for your website or product or service to get some exposure.

These days, almost everyone has at least one blog, so this is a great way to make some extra cash by blogging. And really, now you can say you need to spend more time on the computer because you need to earn money!
